While we always hope for perfect bluebird days, mountain conditions and life can be unpredictable, making comprehensive travel insurance essential. Disruptions can happen for many reasons, including a lack of snow cover, high winds or lightning closing lifts, extreme weather, dangerous road conditions and road closures, train and bus service cancellations, mechanical breakdowns, sudden personal injury, or unexpected events like pandemics and government restrictions. Because these factors are beyond our control, we do not refund for lost ski days, injuries, or closures. Many booking costs are still incurred by us, and our team's time and expertise have already been consumed in planning your trip.

A premium travel insurance policy is your best line of defense to protect your investment.

Please note that our advertised package pricing is a guide only, intended to serve as a baseline estimate that will be finalised based on your unique travel requirements and real-time market conditions. The final cost of your snow holiday is shaped by several factors, meaning package rates vary depending on specific travel choices. Key drivers include seasonality.

For Japanese ski resorts 'Peak Season' winter pricing windows are often in place from around Christmas through to late February and this period commands premium rates compared to 'Value Season' periods such as the early season prior to Christmas and throughout March and for some resorts into April. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect Peak Season pricing from Christmas though to the end of February and Value Season pricing either side of this period. Given the sheer amount of snowfall that Japan receives, the Japanese spring can be an incredible time to visit.

Additionally specific room type selections, such as choosing between a traditional tatami room or a slope-side suite with a private ensuite impact pricing. Furthermore, final quotes are heavily influenced by the number of travellers in your group and sharing rooms, any specific requirements and inclusions, real-time availability, and the dynamic pricing models utilised by accommodation providers and ski resort operators.

Our advertised 'from' pricing online is regularly checked and adjusted to the current JPY to AUD exchange rate and as such the Australian Dollar price may vary up and down slightly over time.

Starting 1 June 2026, Nagano Prefecture implemented a local accommodation tax of ¥200 (approximately $2 AUD) per person, per night for room rates of over a certain minimum value which the accommodation in your booking will be. As we cannot legally include this in your pre-paid holiday package you will be required to pay this at the hotel. Because this levy must be processed separately from your main holiday booking payment, you will be required to pay this tax directly to the front desk agent of your accommodation via cash or credit card during check-in or check-out.

New Group Discounts! Save $100 Per Person.

Yes. If you're traveling in a group of six or more, booking as a group, and staying in twin, triple or quad share accommodation, we'll discount your trip by $100 AUD per person.

Booking must be managed and invoiced as one group, and have identical itinerary.
